Fenerbahce have agreed a £7million transfer fee with United after the 28-year-old accepted a four-year deal worth £55,000-a-week after tax, according to Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias.
Loaned to Sporting Lisbon last summer, Nani impressed during his spell with 12 goals in 35 appearances leading to interest from several clubs.
The winger's form had reportedly drawn interest from Lisbon rivals Benfica, but the United man has stated his loyalty to Sporting.
"The fans do not want players who love to go to the rival club and it's acceptable hear the comments (of criticism)," he said.
"I've played at Sporting, it's a very special club and I do not think about playing at any other club in Portugal."
United bought the 28-year-old from Lisbon for £25.5m in 2007, and he has three years left to run on his current deal.
He fell out of favour with David Moyes during his tenure at Old Trafford and was frozen out of Louis van Gaal's plans when the Dutchman succeeded Moyes last summer.
