Liverpool and Man United stunned as 20-goal striker agrees Juve move

Mandzukic
According to reports from ESPN this morning, Juventus have agreed a fee for Atletico Madrid front-man Mario Mandzukic.
The Croatian international moved to Vincente Calderon only last summer, after claiming consecutive Bundesliga titles and the 2013 Champions League title during his two campaigns at Bayern Munich.
He’s since netted 20 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions for the La Liga outfit, including five goals in the Champions League. But all of those strikes came before the end of February; and Manzukic’s barren run coincided with reports of a bust-up with the Atletico Madrid coaching staff – as claimed by The Independent.
As This Is Futbol revealed in May, Arsenal,  and  were believed to be targeting the 29 year-old, whilst reports earlier this month claimed Atletico had offered Mandzukic to the Red Devils.
But according to ESPN, who cite Football-Italia amongst other sources, it appears the 6 foot 2 striker has shunned interest from United and co. by agreeing an €18million move to Champions League finalists Juventus.
He’ll be the replacement for veteran forward Carlos Tevez, who is on the verge of returning to Boca Juniors.
