According to various reports in the Brazilian media, Manchester United have agreed personal terms and transfer fee for the duo of Roberto Firmino and Rodrigo Dourado and the deals could be announced next week. According to the reports, the duo will undergo medicals with Manchester United between Monday and Wednesday next week and should the medicals be successful, the club will announced the signings.
Roberto Firmino who plays for Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga has been one of their best players this season scoring fourteen goals and creating ten assists despite playing as a winger. His wonderful performance has caught the eyes of many European clubs’ scouts and as such he has been linked to many clubs – AC Milan, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been linked.
Rodrigo Dourado who is the second player that United have reportedly agreed terms for has previously been linked to Liverpool and Chelsea. He was reportedly scouted many times by United scouts. It however remain to be seen what plans United have for him since they are very unlikely to get a work permit for him due to the tightening of the work permit law but off course, he could be sent on loan.
