Home defender Luke Garbutt returns to the squad after a bout of tonsillitis but will only be a substitute.Sunderland skipper John O'Shea will miss his first game of the season.
Gabby Agbonlahor will return for Aston Villa from a hamstring injury. West Ham defender James Collinsis expected to overcome a back spasm in time for the game.
Hull midfielder Mohamed Diame has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Relegation-threatened Burnley have defender Michael Duff available.

David Nugent will return to the Leicester squad. James Ward-Prowse, Morgan Schneiderlin and Dusan Tadic are among those unavailable for Southampton.
Papiss Cisse could return to the Newcastle side, but midfielder Siem de Jong (thigh) is ruled out.Tony Pulis will assess his squad on Saturday before naming the West Brom team.
Jack Butland will keep his place in goal for the visit of Tottenham, who have midfielders Mousa Dembele (thigh) and Andros Townsend (foot) back in contention.
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has no injury concerns as Fraizer Campbell and Marouane Chamakh return. Several members of the Manchester United squad are doubtful for Saturday's game at Crystal Palace because of a virus.
Sunday
Manchester City playmaker Samir Nasri will miss Sunday's clash after being ruled out for the rest of the seasonQPR manager Chris Ramsey says he is down to the 'bare bones'. Steven Caulker(hand), Clint Hill (hamstring) and Mauricio Isla (knee) are all doubts.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has yet to decide whether Diego Costa will feature. Striker Mario Balotelli returned to training this week after a foot injury and could make the Liverpool squad.
