Man Utd to use Jonny Evans as transfer bait to land right-back

Manchester United desperately need a new right-back this summer, and in terms of the transfer window there has been a slight lull in proceedings for the Old Trafford club. With around five weeks left before the season kicks off, things should start hotting up soon.
According to the Daily Star, Manchester United want Seamus Coleman, and are prepared to offer Jonny Evans plus cash for the services of the 26-year old from the Republic of Ireland.
Seamus Coleman would be a fantastic signing, his buccaneering running up and down the touchline would be a great asset, and his defensive abilities as a  wing-back certainly make him one of the best in the league. He would normally cost a fair amount, but you can knock around £10million off that because of Jonny Evans being used as a makeweight.
Jonny Evans had a woeful season for United. Every time the ball went near him you could sense a nervousness in his game, and eventually that rubbed off on the rest of the players. Many expected him to develop and kick on, but that hasn’t happened and a move away would probably be the best thing for everyone.
