Manchester United are closing in on their second signing of the summer transfer window after it was revealed Southampton star MorganSchneiderlin will join the club on Wednesday.
The Frenchman has been attracting interest from a number of high-profile clubs across Europe in the past few weeks, with the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus and Tottenham all thought to be showing an interest.
But, according to the Metro, Schneiderlin is on the verge of sealing his switch to Old Trafford and will likely make his current club £24million from the transfer.
United manager Louis van Gaal has wasted no time in splashing some of the £150million he is said to have been given to bolster his squad this summer, with the club already completed a deal to sign Memphis Depay from PSV.
Schneiderlin has admitted in the past his desire to play Champions Leaguefootball, and he will now get that chance under Van Gaal.
