Besiktas to use £7.2m Demba Ba cash and end Mario Balotelli's nightmare Liverpool stint

BESIKTAS will make an audacious bid to prise Mario Balotelli away from Liverpool this summer.

That is according to Turkish newspaper Haberturk, who claim the Istanbul club want Balotelli as a replacement for Demba Ba.
Ba, 30, is expected to quit the club this off-season after revealing he wants to play in England.

The former West Ham and Newcastle striker left Chelsea for Besiktas last summer for £8million.
But West Brom are ready to bring him back to the Premier League and Besiktas are holding out for a reported £7.2m that they will reinvest in Balotelli.

Liverpool are expected to keep hold of Balotelli this summer as manager Brendan Rodgers seeks to let Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini go.
But with Sampdoria also interested in the Italy striker, Rodgers may decide to cash in on a player who failed to light up the Premier League following last summer's £16m switch from Milan.
