It has been revealed that Liverpool have signed Roberto Firmino from German club Hoffenheim.
The Reds have announced that they have captured the 23-year old forward on a long-term deal, subject to a medical, which will take place following his duties with Brazil at the Copa America.
Firmino has reportedly joined Liverpool for a transfer fee of £21million, which could rise to as much as £28m, with the former Figueirense young gun becoming Brendan Rodgers’ fifth summer signing behind Danny Ings, Adam Bodgan, Joe Gomez and James Milner.
During his time with Hoffenheim, nine-time Brazil international Firmino scored 48 goals in 152 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit
